CARLEI PREMIUM VINEYARDS BLOCK 5 SHIRAZ

This wine is from our vineyards across our stable of Shiraz in Victoria and New South Wales.

 

Being predominantly cool vineyards (above 600 metres), the wine has lovely lifted aromas of ripe dark red & black berry fruits, dark cherries with a hint of black pepper spice which makes the aroma and palate vibrant, interesting and enjoyable.

 

There is less of the “sweet” character. The palate is rich in intense sweet fruits and balanced acidity but soft vanilla oak tannin to enjoy now as a youthful wine or can be laid down to enjoy in many years to come.

CARLEI PREMIUM VINEYARDS BLOCK 12 SHIRAZ

This wine is from our vineyards across our stable of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon in Victoria and New South Wales.

 

Being predominantly cool climate Shiraz (above 600 metres) and warm climate Cabernet Sauvignon (below 200 metres), the wine has lovely lifted aromas of ripe dark red & black berry fruits, dark cherries with a hint of black pepper spice and earthy notes from the Cabernet Sauvignon makes the aroma and palate vibrant, intense and interesting as well as enjoyable.

 

The palate is also rich in intense sweet, intense fruits and balanced acidity but soft vanilla oak tannin to enjoy now as a youthful wine or can be laid down to enjoy in many years to come. A wine made for pure enjoyment.
