Stephen Thomson was a force behind Carlei Wines in the early days. Never missing a day as a cellar-hand, he made things happen when others couldn't be bothered. Nothing was ever too hard; he was a true blue. Apart from making wine, he enjoyed two things in life, fishing and drinking our Heathcote Shiraz, usually together. We dedicate this wine to a true blue

who has "gone fishing".
